Awards Program
The VCDKK has several awards that honor both the DK’s owner-handler and the DK. Except for
the VGP award, which is provided by the club and a certificate which is presented to owners of
liters earning a Breeder Award, all other awards are in the form of plaques and are obtained
through our provider. It is the responsibility of the owner-handler to initiate the contact with
the provider to order and pay for these awards. Those wanting to order plaques are requested
to refer to the Tests, Zuchtschau, and Breeder Award order forms for ordering instruction.
Awards are for VCDKK members in good standing.
Plaque sizes are 5 x7 in. (youth), 6 x 8 in. (adult) for test and Zuchtschau categories,
and 8x10 in. for Breeder Awards.
Plaques will be a gold full metal sheet with a cherry wood colored base.

Qualifying liters must have had 4 dogs or 50% of the liter (whichever is less) or 3 dogs if the liter is 7 or less from the same liter who receive a Prize 1 Derby or VJP equivalent of a Prize 1. VJP dogs must have a score of 9 or greater in the nose, search, and pointing categories and cannot receive a score less than 6 in other scoring categories. Dogs must have a conformation rating of SG or higher in a Jugendklasse or Altersklasse.

Qualifying liters must have at least 4 dogs or 3 dogs if the liter size is 7 or less earn a Prize 1 score or HZP equivalent of a Prize 1. HZP qualifying dogs must have a score of 9 or greater in the use of nose, search, pointing, search with live duck categories. All other scoring categories must have a score of 6 or greater. Dogs must have an adult (Altersklasse) Zuchtschau evaluation of SG or higher.

Qualifying liters must have at least 2 dogs earn a Prize of 3 or higher. Dogs must have an Altersklasse conformation rating of SG or higher.
